    I think it refers to the fact the grandmother knew he was being abused and even though she loved him, she did nothing when she could have

    That's true lmao. They said she raised him with love so she was probably the only person in his family who cared about him, I guess. But since she did nothing, it isn't really a positive example of love eother and it can be common for other family members to ignore or even defend bad parents. It's pretty sad

    Well she love him but she most likely love her children more isn't she?? She can call the police but that would probably mean her child get arrested, someone who grow up became an abuser most likely a spoiled child who get tolerated for everything they do by they parent.
