Not to mention, with how many kids they have, and with the oldest children already working full-time, you'd think there'd be more money going around the family. Where is all that money going to? Let's not forget the debts. I though those were mostly payed off but then his mother comes and says there is more debt left? What in the world do they need so much money for?? Like, hello? Who lends this broke family all that silver and gold Σ( ￣□￣||)
If I had to guess for plot and dragging story out some of the money lenders were increasing the debt because of interests so they would just bleed em dry of money to maybe make them slave debts to get the wife and some of the prettier children
It's what I've seen other mangas do but if not that then this is a stupid plot hole or there are other reasons
Guess we'll see in the coming chapters if it's going to be a cliché or not

i know condoms were probably sheepskins and stuff and not that well known? but having more kids while like this? and they didn't think to abort until they were in a stable position? i know damn well they could've used contraceptive herbs or something too but still i feel sorry for this guy who is just randomly shouldered all the problems for something not even his fault
