RIGHT when it first starts out I'm so excited with it and wait for every update eagerly but then when it starts spiraling downhill I keep reading to convince myself that it'll pick back up again

I’m ashamed to say I once was a fan of “yours to claim” was one of my first BL’s and I’ve been reading it since it came out BUT EVER SINCE THAT HUGE ASS HIATUS it just went downhill. Jooin was so insufferable and Yawhi needed to get his shit together, Cain gave literally nothing and still I sat through it ONLY FOR THAT SORRY EXCUSE OF AN ENDING. Like I was actually so curious to see how they would make up only to be hit with Truck-kun and a time skip, more mixed signals from Jooin and they suddenly get back together???? Whatever happened to the bullshit Jooin was spewing before the timeskip??? That entire chase arc was so uncomfortable to read WHERES THE SATISFACTION…man

I was looking in the comments a while back and saw a spoiler saying that the ML rapes MC and I was just in denial, I went and read the novel of when that happened only for tears to well up in my eyes, it was true. But I still held on to hope that they changed it for the manhwa only to be disappointed to see they actually followed the novel. I’m still mad abt cuz it was SO good and then it turned out to be a shitty story as soon as the next season started. I don’t read it anymore cuz it’s so unbearable to read but i’m still sad that it turned out that way, I thought I hit the jackpot on this one

don't you guys hate it when a good manhwa/manga you've been reading and supporting for such a long time suddenly fumbles so now you have to drop it and convince yourself "it's just fiction it's just a story it's just fiction it's just a story" over and over until you've successfully fooled yourself that that manhwa wasn't really worth your time or is it just me?
