Tell me about it. I'm having a hard time finding things to read because almost a lot of things I read these days are copy pasted from some other well known story it sucks when I read something and able to predict what will happen to the story pretty much. I like it when I try to guess and get it wrong lol. Nowadays it's that typical scenarios that's just too obvious... like why bother.. I'll just re read my other masterpiece goodies.
But yes, the miscommunication and misunderstanding shit is too overused and seriously boring now. I rather read something where they sit down and communicate. Talk. We get enough of those "no communication BS" in RL no need for it in the stories I read
I don't mind the misunderstandings for like 1-2 chapters but when it's like 85% of the damn story then imma rage drop it and rant in comments lol.
Also nothing can be done with the SA and R... It's been like that for ages so the only option is to just leave and look for other things to read.
Do you have BLs in mind that you would consider unique and original? I would really like to know some recs from someone like you ^__^ thx in advance...
To be honest it goes into every genre. Looks at the shoujo section, all of them are the same stories rebranded . The action section having the same formula from weak to (insert training arc here) to OP ass guy.
When you have read too many, people are bound to come up with the same idea. Like literally calculus has 2 people publish it around the same time!! Like even geniuses think alike. So i dont think about it too much tbh. Because a good story will always be a good one . And as for myself i do enjoy something so cliche you can just turn off your brain reading it.
I suggest jumping around diff genres or medium! Anime, novels and comics tend to have different trending tropes or approach.
Senjou no Bokura. It doesn't follow the typical Yaoi/BL formula but it doesn't stray far from it either

So I’ve been reading BL since i was…let’s say 14ish (18 now). I have read many BL like more than normal people and by the time you read that much BL as me you start to see these patterns of story, where it’s all miss communication and miss understandings (they love a lot of misses). I don’t mind those tropes but it comes to a point where it’s in every. Single. BL. Like it gets really annoying. Feels like a cheap trick yk?
Also whats up with BL having SA…like I will see a really good story and randomly there will be SA like wtf man…it’s just weird!!
ALSO WHY IN BLS ALL THE BOTTOMS GONNA BE ALWAYS ON THE RIGHT WHEN CLEARLY THEY HURT THE TOPS FEELINGS honestly fucking HATE that trope..also also why can’t two bottoms like a top? Why is it always the tops liking the bottom??!?
I wish there were more original works of BL, Im currently reading Regas (idk how to spell) it’s really good, it doesn’t really confuse on the BL part..right now tho.
