yess exactly the way they talk to each other is so adorable. and them calling each other boyfriends like that??? i don’t know why but i have never seen that in webtoons so far and i’m not sure why (as a seasoned af fujo i’ve been reading bl since 2014) it’s even more endearing than giving each other petnames because something about it is so pure. without having this big misunderstanding arc or a “but i’m straight…” arc or pondering about it and avoiding it they just take that step and it just flows so naturally… i adore them

usually webtoons have very minimal buildup before they “fall in love” or they go from crushing to fucking in two seconds without flirting or tension but i love that they flirt so realistically here. it’s really good, doesn’t feel awkward, and it translates well. it isn’t corny either or attempting to be extremely poetic. it’s probably because haebeom isn’t one of those asshole mls that act like they dgaf the entire time to protect their feelings or in fear of rejection, but he also isn’t a puppy seme who’s overly eager (i find that most mls that aren’t an asshole from the start are puppy-coded but haebeom is so tastefully tsundere. i’m obsessed. you can tell he cares. him calling sungho his baby made me die a little in a good way. them calling eachother cute without blushing and keeping it to themselves. the soft banter that isn’t mean, just lightly teasing… i really hope this doesn’t change or there isn’t a long angst arc because i’d hate that)
that being said reading this just reminds me of how my relationship with my girlfriend built up and it’s amazing. it’s hard to find webtoons that aren’t an overly dramatized version of what relationships are like and this might be the best at doing it yet. it’s so different and i rarely ever get them but i always get butterflies reading this, deserves the 9.7 for sure. plus the character designs i know haebeom is huge but i’m so glad that sungho isn’t 5’2 hyperfeminine and a twig in comparison. everything about this omg
