I mean kang had done this before in the first chapters, no?

We literally lost the mature kang we thought we had. This feels like a funeral more than anything.

But srsly tho, people are saying that ahn in the later chapters will clarify that he liked it, you might be completely right.
But these situations need to be properly discussed before happening.

You cant put sex and luck in the same category with a partner everything needs to be discussed between the two parties, so noone would feel like they have been violated.
Like for ex: What if one party doesn't like it? They didnt discuss a safe word or boundaries so everything in the dark.
This kind of stuff can border to sexual violence more than just intercourse.

Thats why so many people are labeling this situation "scary" not because the smut has turned 'rough' but bcuz the characters are doing undiscussed stuff that might have very negative consequences.

We literally lost the mature kang we thought we had. - It's literally the course of the story. He is overly confident when he said he would just let Ahn go. He realized he is wrong.

And sex with Kang was already pretty rough to begin with.

Ofc its the course of the story, but we still did lose him. Many liked him bcuz he was a chill character who was mature and now he is changing his true colors.

It was but at least (like i said above) both parties were okay with it,

If he didn't change then there wouldn't be any character development. I'm just stumped that it's something to be sad about. Since the OG series, Kang discovers something new about himself, this is another one. I don't think we lost him, it's just that we are being told he is already beyond crazy in love and its not a relationship he can simply just move on, so much so he's becoming younger, meeting Ahn halfway than always taking the high road. Up to this point, it was always Ahn who was adventurous, spunky, and impulsive. So nothing should have been lost, only added or improved for the sake of their relationship....
