Also add on. She was the Emperor's lover first and he promised to make MC the Empress but then for some reason she became Mistress. He led her on believing she'd be Empress but Emperor is trash for this. Won't let go of MC but treats her like trash.
She's a mistress not by choice but because the crown prince made her so. Like she'd die if she declines a royal lol. But I don't know if I should continue reading if she's gonna be stupid still. I'd prefer her being a cunning mistress and make them suffer for what they did to her.
