I think you got it wrong. The one who got pregnant the girl is the high-school friend, not the uke. The friends were explaining their circumstances in the cafeteria.
We just gonna all ignore the fact he knocked up some chick? Never mentions it, unlike clearing up the whole selling drugs to kids misunstanding, so I'm guessing it's true he got someone pregnant.
