So no one's gonna address the fact that she practically ment to end her life then.... alr. I'm sorry but I hoped calisto would've recognized more and further understand y her family life has to do with her craving for true love.

Im sorry but penelopes monoluge just as she was about to end her life was just too pitiful not to address especially in front of her family members. Imo they need to know that it was their treatment that led to her decision and is ultimately the reason why she almost ended up on her literal deathbed. i think its about the implications why would she want to kill herself, and if the scenario were to happen where ivonne would have picked up the poisoned cup instead wouldn't it have just been some different reasoning to villainize this girl? How are you gonna put her in this pitiful position and blame it some unsubstantiated fact? I mean she would rather die painfully too poison than have to face their prosecution of her. This is all so telling so assumed calistio would approach it in a manner that would focus on trying to grasps penelopes feelings and perspective all while protecting penelope rather than attack the dukedom which would make sense bcs callisto is similar to her in this capacity. Its the pure crultey towards penelope that astonishes me and i could care less ab calisto violating the dukedom moreas i would appreciate him calling out their awful treatment of her and acting on that by treating penelope as she deserves but maybe i feel this way bcs im just a penelope fan.
