This is exactly what I thought when I first read this manga. The art style is very distinctive. For example, she tends to like drawing men with moles, particularly with a specific kind of placement. Underneath the eye.
Also, remember that her smut is usually yandere centered. This definitely passes that vibe.
But as you say, it makes perfect sense to use a different pen name when illustrating smut versus non-smut.
If you want more definitive proof, she has a serialization that's also a smut. I forget what it's called, but it's not a oneshot. I think it's some isekai thing.
