samk's writing is a bit awkward for me but plot wise she's a genius. same like Chaepali like this woman her novel is always trending at korean platform but her writing's style is a bit idk not my taste ig, though her plot and creativity in the conflicts are interesting one thing i know she's always into pretty bottom and cringe seme lol
Me too, its a classic, sad they don't get more recognition.
For me both samk and chepali are good with their plot. It has originality and sometimes it’s complex so it became interesting.
True samk's has her flaws in story telling ig but plot wise i'm always on the edge of my seat. I'm not too fond of chaepali but I love some if her works for sure but I don't know much, all i'm saying is that there way too many underrated authors who actually take more time and think when giving a story and idk why
A lot of people say payback is boring and maybe it’s true. But what I like about payback is how Yoohan the bottom actually stands up for himself. I don’t know much because maybe I haven’t read a lot of BL, but most of I read, yoohan is the only bottom that actually managed to pay his debt by himself with his own efforts. And I think if jay and yoohan actually met earlier, yoohan wouldn’t even want jay to pay. That’s what I love about payback. Their dynamic is chef kiss

agree yoohan is an interesting bottom like he is suicidal yet he has functioning survival instinct his character is complex and despite being depressed he still tried to be logical lol. my only complain is his design in manhwa is too pretty i mean he is handsome ofc but in novel he's average korean male (and the author stressed this countless times lmao) and his appeal is his natural muscles and eyes. bc he is too pretty in manhwa the manhwa readers only are confused why so many characters there call him average ... i mean he is indeed average in novel lolllll
