RIGHT? Not too long ago, siri was getting her ass kicked by the wizzard and emperor was controlling her like a puppet but now it just feels embarrassing to think that these people are the same characters who made siri suffer.. they didn’t even put up a fight

I think it was implied that the mages weren't too great and that the soldiers themselves couldn't compare to aura users. For example, in the conversation between Arkana and Bibi - he notes that Bibi doesn't live up to her title of genius, so I guess you can take it as that they're just not on par with current magic standards. As with Adolf, I did think he'd be stronger as well - I think they nerfed him really - but it kind of makes sense when you consider that Seri sort of figured out how to fight against magic with aura. As for Arkana's abilities, I don't think we've ever seen the full extent of it so I do agree, for him at least, that he's mad OP.
Is it just me or this rebellion was dog water compared to what they’ve been building up to?? The mages are so pathetic and unprepared for their enemies- even the king was so embarrassing?? This was supposed to be a difficult battle but so far they’ve passed by so smoothly and with literally no injuries- like ofc I’m rooting for the hero’s to win but this was just disappointing cause how easy this shit was- they’re supposed to be clashing out and it’s supposed to be challenging but god damn lmao. These characters were supposed to be a threat- but I guess we get an early date chapter
