Yeh, I know they're written by women too. It's also in JP mangas written by women, where they write the FL to be a complete virgin like it's a requirement, before pairing her up with a playboy ML. Reinforcing their cultural belief that women should be "pure" for their male partners.
So I just mean that culture against women is so strong it even spreads through fantasy manhuas made by women, which still doesn't allow women the same things men are allowed to do, like revenge :'((

In BxG chinese manhuas, they don't dare to actually inflict any pain or revenge on sh*tty CEO MLs and just let the FL suffer and forgive.
It's just sexism at this point. Becuz, BxG manhuas never allow the women to hurt men back. All suffering, no revenge for FLs. They'll just forgive the horrible ML and show how weak and forgiving FL is.
