Ummm

I’m not trying to defend the ukes actions here but people getting upset that he might cheat on the seme need to open their eyes and see that theyre not in any normal committed relationship. The seme is trying to help the uke with his addiction, but that doesn’t mean he has motives for being with the uke when the both of their worries should be helping the uke (since the seme doesn’t even have an addiction). It’s terrible that the uke always threatens the seme that he’ll find someone else when the seme isn’t there when he needs him, and he and the seme needs to help the uke realize that. The seme was the one that suggested their deal in the first place. He’s terribly naive in pursuing someone with an addiction when he’s faking his own identity and story for his friend who has the addiction; there’s obviously going to be issues with that in the future and the uke is probably going to have trust issues and relapse or something. Honestly, I can not help but sympathize with the uke because he does have deeply rooted issues and experiences that shaped the ways he is now but he’s aware that he needs the help and is going to therapy for it, and he himself even realizes that he’s vulnerable to temptation. But obviously it’s not really going as ideal as anyone would hope for. But I hope the uke can see that he can really change and be happy for who he really is and have a healthier life with the seme’s help

But I’m honestly really glad I found this manhwa because there’s rarely any bl that deals with recovering from addiction rather than just the characters ending up having them and the story ends like that

That was very good what you wrote, I haven't read much if the story yet cuz I felt like it should marinate a while since drama big time is going to happen. So wait are you saying the uke realized he has problems and is going to therapy in a bl story? Seriously? I can only think of 1 or 2 other times a bl character realized they needed therapy and actually went. And I get about there not being any recovered addicts bl series, the only one I can think if is the uke in Under The Green Light, which is messed up in other ways.
