I actually read the other book first a while ago and honestly I think Ryou was a huge red flag and disgusting cause you know the story and after reading this, I didn't think I'd have such a complex feeling for a character. Ryou here is a vile human being and knowing that someone like him actually exist in real life is truly disgusting. I feel pity for the omegas in this manga. I can't remember how many times I thought that Nanao should just runaway. Why would he even consider to be marked by someone like that? He also hates alphas, right? Well maybe he felt betrayed and wasn't able to think clearly and just gave up. Maybe he thought it wasn't that bad cuz he was set for life in exchange for his body which is nothing new to him? Well anyways, I feel bad for Nanao. Being able to endure everything without anyone by his side, I kinda see why he consider that.
