I mean... We lack of story like this. Though feel unsatisfactory but i feel like it's nice, it feels like we have wide range of all type of story
the story is trying not to romanticise war and showcase things as it is. it does have a point, and the point is that his love is unrequited. it's a refreshing, realistic story and i think we should appreciate that.
I still don't understand whats the purpose of this plot. Not saying all stories need a purpose but a Japanese mangaka writing about BL in a deeply conservative community and the war between Tibetan and the Chinese government, and the end game is still NOT them overcoming the hurdle to be together but for the ML to not feel the same for the MC. Like? Ok ???? What this story tryna say??
