I'm sorry but I'm really curious in what way you CAN'T count? Do you misremember the number or it has something to do with concentration? I do know some character that can't remember other people's name, but this is my first time knowing such thing exist? Isn't it a bit horrible if you are a student?
I exaggerated lol, It s more like... You re slower to count and you mistake some numbers... And It s more difficult to memorize... Pretty bad to live as a student . It s a form of dhd. The bad part is that teachers generalise in "attention problems" and don't help with the specific problems... In my class there were different people with different dhd (disgraphic, dislessic...usually people with dhd have more symptoms at the same time as me per example). However teachers give us all the same treatment as we had all the same difficultes.
I have dyscalculia and to answer you question it's not that i CAN'T count, i just have difficulty counting because i often forget what number i'm on, specially if i'm doing something else (for example when i go to the gym with my cousin, he has to count my repetitions because i can't concentrate in the exercise and count at the same time). Dyscalculia isn't necessarily related to difficulty concentrating, everyone is different, each with their own struggles. I also have other problems related to numbers because of dyscalculia, and yes it sucks A LOT if you are a student
He doesn't know how to count.
Dyscalculia representation.
I feel so represented.
