Also, with the exchange glares... I feel he manipulated info so she'd read the script for the wrong epi. And it would make sense him not wanting mc there. His "famous idol turning actor" image can't compare with mc's achievements and would certainly outshine him.
you're so right, he does have the scary vibe and ofcourse, people like him who have enough brain to pretend to be nice around everyone, are way more scarier than ones that can't hide their hatred or jealousy
