Giving this manhwa a go again after reading Waterside Night. I kept dropping it before after reading a few chapters because it seems so bland, and the MCs almost look exactly similar except for the eyes and the height. BUT YEAAAAH I'M GONNA GIVE IT A GO AGAIN (▰˘◡˘▰)

oh hey, were on the same boat! i kept giving this up too when it was still in its early chapters, except i started rereading this when i found out waterside night was ending on ch.100 so i already finished this just now.. while i love how Lyle's character developed from that of a stoic noble robot to a lovesick yet strong individual, Ash's character made it hard for me to find anything interesting about him, i have trust issues with characters who smile a lot. i associate such characters with people who have a lot of secrets to hide but it feels like the story's focus is more on Lyle's pov and development. we do get a glimpse of Ash's childhood but it didn't do anything to change my opinion of him. but them as a couple gosh it was literally oozing of sweet, sticky love. i enjoyed seeing them as a couple. i also love the art quality but the characters really are nearly identical at times except for the eyes and eyebrows so distinguishing who's who was a bit of a struggle especially when Lyle's hair is down overall i guess this is one of the manhwas that i don't regret reading despite giving it up several times at the start. however i can't say it completely satisfied me either. i do hope there will be side stories... how was it on your end tho?

This is the gold standard for an emotionally complex relationship that isn’t just idiots not communicating for the sake of drama. The characters are so well developed and complex that it’s really a step above most similar stories
