MC was with ML. ML was jealous because MC kept prioritizing his sister (who raised him basically). MC stopped contacting ML after their fight expecting ML to contact him first snd apologize. ML never did and instead hooked up with MC's sister probably to remain in MC's life and also to spite him in a way. ML told MC's sister he is in love with her brother. She didn't care because she thought she could get him to fall for her. Apparently they got married (not explained yet why this happened since he told her he doesn't love her. I don't get what he benefits from this if hr ever wanted MC back). MC's sister and ML got divorced. First chapter shows ehat happened after said divorce with some flashbacks here snd there. ML and MC hooked up again (past divorce) and ML sent MC's sister a photo of sleeping MC probably to break her close relationship with MC and so that ML no longer feels like he is competing with her. Either that or it's just some form of revenge
