Oh and about Jinwoo~ he wasn't self centered or narcissistic. It was the opposite. From the beginning he lacked self confidence. Probably it's started with him being recessive. After that everything was just going downhill... He created a wall so no one could hurt him anymore than he already was. He suffered greatly and without this knowledge it's hard to understand the way he acted.
Yeah the reason for why he didn't get rid of his rut cycle, if I'm not mistaken, is because of his complex of being a recessive alpha because as you must know already he was in love w Minjae (an omega) thus, so as to prove Minjae (and himself) that he was worthy enough, that he is an alpha who is "dominant" enough, capable enough that he has the right to stand by Minjae's side as his lover/partner even though he isn't biologically a dominant alpha
The beginning is pretty confused since we get a lot of information without proper background. The alpha x alpha trope was the only thing that keeps me reading tbh. I think that at some point author was aware that something is going wrong (which is said in the creator notes) and after 20-25 chapter the plot is going back to the relationship between Jinwoo and Colton. At the same time we're receiving missing informations from season 1 and everything starts to clarify.
Well I think the explanations of few things should come up earlier since many ppl couldn't focus on the storyline because the amount of "holes" in the plot was massive. Too many characters appeared, they were pretty important to understand motives behind main couple but we didn't get the info why they were so important. Like why Jinwoo didn't get rid of rut cycles.
In the end I'm really happy that I finished reading this. From around ch 35 it was really easy and interesting and I got to love them both
