Child labour?? Wait what?

Author really said yas to "child labor" and the continuation of "child neglect".

It was terribly irresponsible of the parents to leave the children by themselves and drop all the responsibilities on their hands as well ヽ(`Д´)ノ I'm only at Chap 27 and I'm pulling hair out at this development.

Aiden should be enjoying his childhood with Ellen. And this is when the family should be creating good memories, my goodness. But here they are fending for themselves against whole ass adults.

I get the gist that they're written as "geniuses" of their time but this is simply irrational when there are perfectly capable adults around. The passing of the torch can be done in the near future, not when they're still children.

Also, the parents not taking initiative to immediately return when their son got hurt is abhorrent. He's still a CHILD.

Where is the author's common sense?
