Same I'm worry about that
I think with how attached ML is to MC, he will always stay by her side. Even his monologue at the end of ch 18 shows how much she means to him. He knows how wasted her youth is and her painful life.. But yeah, she will definitely be mad at ML for lying about being poor.
Am I the only one worried about the people and situation on ML's side? I wish the story after this was all about Haesoo healing and finding joy in a new healthy relationship, but I'm worried that the ML's family (especially that "chairman") and the girl who's seemingly in love with him will cause trouble because "she's not worthy" or something cliché like that. If it's like that, instead of recovering, she will become even more insecure about herself and I DON'T want that now that she's finally about to break free from her toxic lifestyle and ex-husband ╥﹏╥
NOT TO MENTION that this whole blooming relationship between the main characters is still based on lies from the ML's side: Haesoo still thinks that he's a poor helpless kid she has to protect, and she's gonna feel betrayed when she finds out she's being manipulated (even if it's for her own good it doesn't matter).
