I'm guessing we'll be getting side stories to tie up the loose ends... hopefully.

Hopefully. I'm just confused as to why they wouldn't incorporate those into the main series though. Why make them side stories??
My best guess is because they don't/no longer have anything significant to do with the main plot or they were just a plot device used to push the main story on, but since they can still be explored on their own as a side story, the author can just leave it open ended and circle back to it if they want to.
I'm so lost... this felt so rushed. Also wasn't there shit going on with his dad?? What ever happened to that?? Cute ending, title drop, hug, all that, but like...?? I feel like there's so much that was left out.
