tbh what I see more are stories w asshole tops, but I get what you're seeing, I've read some of those stories and it seems to me that ppl forgive the bottom being abusive more easily because they're usually in a position of "less power", in a similar way that people seem to disregard the existence of female abusers some times. I've also noticed that a lot of ppl like it, thinking it's nice for a change that the bottom isn't the one suffering anymore (like historical reparation???). Well ppl are weird and there's always these awful stories, I'm trying my best to stay reading just wholesome things but sometimes I end up traumatized by those

i have more but i cant find them at the time. the stories are good but the bottoms piss me off so often so it makes it hard to actually like the stories

what is the obsession with authors making the bottom an absolute abusive bitch and then making the top very tolerant and self blaming?? it's just so annoying because the bottom will be extremely physically and emotionally abusive, but the top just puts up with it. and then when the bottom finally starts acting like a decent human we are just supposed to forget the entire time the bottom was a complete asshole. seriously, what is up with that?? it ruins so many good plotlines and it's just terrible to see. especially when readers just act like nothing happened, like NO the bottom is a terrible person news flash
