Idk Japanese so my interpretation is based on inference and some mtl so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure director dresses femininely and such to appease a relative kind of pretending to be them or smfh like that? It's been a little bit since I read it tbh. But they're not accepted for who they actually are which is part of why they're so attached to Shizuma since Shizuma is the goat and accepts everyone for who they really are instead of forcing them to pretend to be someone they're not n stuff. I don't think the director is into Shizuma in a romantic sense I think they just consider him a friend/someone they can trust or be themselves around since he's just an easy guy to be around n everything. Regardless Shizuma would never ever let the director get in between himself and Minato he loves Minato WAYYYYY too much <3 they r the world to me
