His definition of love is dark, possessive and angst some like it some don't for me I loved it, binge read all 4 volumes in 5 days cried for ML in 3rd vol and 4th was kinda spin off...and its also small so yeah it's easy and simple read
Imo SVSSS has the best chemistry. The book focuses more on bingqiu’s relationship while TGCF and MDZS focus on other things like background characters and plot.. I feel like there are very little hualian scenes in some of the books.
Yeah, I love tgcf but it’s insanely long. I really like how flawed binghe is and his attachment issues.
that is very true, i am super addicted to tgcf lore and just xie lian in general so it makes sense that’s my favorite. plus im not huge on sex scenes, so that also factors in.

I think its bc theres not a lot of buildup into the reasons behind their feelings. Like wangxian is teenage love and bingqiu is reader-character and disciple-master love but hualian is kinda random lol. Like I get that hua cheng loves xie lian bc he saved him as a kid but theres no real reason why xie lian likes hua cheng. He just shows up and xie lian is like yeah I like this guy.
He’s so kind,suave, and caring to Xie Lian so I get why he fell for him. I do like bingqiu the best tho since binghe is my fave.
Still the best mxtx work with mdzs coming in second and tgcf in dead last
