You know I think this is enough to showcase their relationship, MC could go to the US, make some friends and visit ML and they could get together when he’s an adult. I really think some time skip chapter should happen, or several ones that are short-term.
Everybody is in the wrong here, the brother is a creep and a future murderer, the ML is wrong for basically kidnapping MC. Tbh I hoped there would be some time skip.
