tbf, i think even if the mc knew it was the crown prince, shed think marrying him would stop him messing w the other dude or something
Sure but that doesn't make him a better choice for her life. He could very well end up being worse than her father which would defeat the entire purpose of running away from home. Crown prince doesn't really seem to have a moral compass.
"I'll go with the prince instead. It couldn't possibly be any worse than before" she says about the person that pretty much planned the whole fire ordeal
Did she not think it was even the slightest bit sus that he suddenly shows up with perfect timing right when she feels the world is falling apart?
