I just read this in one sitting and as a girl this really thought me a LOT abt womanhood, its just woww i can't explain how I relate to this so much in this day and age. (I have an older brother that gets what he want just bcs he was born first and the fact that he's a male and I have to earn what I NEED and WANTS I guess there just some thing you can't change not even time could)
What a traditional family. I'm also Asian (South East Asian) but we don't follow this type of tradition here. In our family, all is equally provided. If that is the case for you, I suggest moving out of the family as soon as possible so you can be independent already.
