Oh ewww
This reminds of my experience from the other day where I was talking about martial arts/murim/wuxia novels/comics with a dude I know. He's p chill on most things but when I brought up this series and a rare few other ones where they treat female characters p equally to male characters, and don't sexualise them (just bc they're women), his reply was "yeahh but after reading so many it just becomes part of the genre, y'know?" (Paraphrasing a bit but the same idea) While i kind of get where he is coming from, I just... nah. When I've gotten taste of the good ones it becomes harder to overlook just how differently female characters are treated in the action genre
The difference in comment on this chapter is insane.
On this site, we praise MC for being a decent human being who doesn't feel like sexualising and romanticising a barely an adult woman.
While on the other website (the website's main reader and target audience are men). They commented this verbatim:
"Any beautiful girl around 22 years old should be attractive to any man, no matter the age (there's real data about this). Also, even if MC has the mindset of an old man, he should still need to withstand his young man's hormones acting up. lol
Of course, she is too young now, but once she's an adult and agrees with it, it's game."
