I'm with you on this. Yes, I want her to grow a backbone and get out of that meekness her family put her into (which will take time, but she'll get there), yet....this was not one of those times. She's trying to hatch her eggs before she even counts them and the chicken hasn't even laid them yet! She should've stayed home and practiced her magic, horseback riding and other things. She's not proficient enough at anything to be rising with and fighting along side knights who've been training since child/young adult hood. Someone is going to get hurt bc of her and it might be HER.
I see that too. They're saying he's a red flag because he's controlling and yada (when all he wants is for her to be safe and and that is at home for the time being). It's bc they want the FL to go from being timid and scared to a strong FL, like it happens in a lot of other stories. I get it, BUT this FL doesn't have the proper training and practice for her to be a strong FL, as far as her magic goes. It's dangerous for her to go with them. She's already holding them back. Unless the author gives her plot armor and make it where she magically becomes strong all of a sudden.
i dont think he is a red flag at all. I can totally see he is in love with her. He is speaking out to in anger because he is worried for her. I understand she got hurt when he compared her to the princess, but he isnt good at explaining it properly to her about it. The princess has trained probably since birth, unfortunately the FL has been abuse and treated badly. both had different upbringing
im with Riftan on this! she just started to learn magic.. she is not qualified to join them and it is putting Riftan and knights more endanger. He has every right to be pissed off, that she completely ignored his command and understand his situation. Yes she is getting better and expressing herself and getting more confident in herself doesnt justify her ignoring his command.
