Do yall trust ratings on Mangago? I tend to avoid manhwas/mangas/manhuas with low ratings,...

I don't look at the rating at all and just trust my own opinion. Ratings here are pretty fucked up tho, I keep seeing good manhwas here with the lowest rating or average but just trust your own judgment cause it could be that other people don't like it while you think differently.

I personally trust the ratings of new manhwa/manga and only read over 9.0/10 ratings. But I've noticed that there are quite a lot of old manga that are underrated here. So when it comes to manga released before 2010, I still give them a shot if they have over 8.0/10 rating

Usually I would read the comments first before reading the manhwa. But I get what you feel cus it is the same for me as well. I tend to picky with he art too sometimes

Yeah the ratings on here are v weird tbh, I usually go off MAL ratings if anything but if smth looks good ill read it regardless of rating

I rely on rating Depending on how many chptrs are out and how many PPL have voted. But most of the time I go with gut feeling and comments sometimes. I really like when these have a synopsis chapter ( chapter 0) which help me to get an idea of it

on this site if something is rated lower than 8.0 it usually means it has rape or is too cringe to handle. like one of the other commenters said, old works tend to have lower ratings so if they're above 8.0 i'll give them a chance. i also notice that when bl manhwa (especially pornhwas) were first becoming mainstream they would all have 9.0 ratings or above even if they're absolute doo doo. but nowadays, smth that would've gotten a 9.0 back then is more like a 8.7 today.
