I absolutely despise the author for making it like this. I really which there was no grape because I feel like he could have unrequited love for him in the first life without having to kill Raphiel . Even though he didn’t mean it. But Klopp if over all is a piece of shit and doesn’t deserve Aelock or Raphiel.
Agreed. Aelock really messed up in letting his jealousy (and Klopp’s constant taunt) blind him and hiring people to scare Raphiel but he did not ask to them to commit the atrocities they did. It’s already bad enough that he had to deal with the guilt and remorse from what ensued but he definitely had it the worst in the first life. But Klopp, he deliberately chose to hurt Aelock because of his own ego and insecurities from the get go, being far worse than any of those disgusting pigs who hurt both Raphiel and Aelock. I wish the second life Klopp would’ve been the og Klopp because I feel like, just as tragedy was avoided in this lifetime, everything would’ve been avoided/salvaged in the first lifetime that way(and no other lifetimes would’ve been necessary)— with Klopp recognizing his true feelings and not dragging Raphiel through falseness because of his ego which is what initially caused the butterfly effect.

I agree with you a 100 on this. Its not that we are justifying the Aeroc's actions in the first timeline. Yes, we acknowledge he was wrong but we cannot deny the fact that after all the suffering he had to go through & at the end of his life Aeroc was reedemed because he truly felt sorry for his mistakes. He took responsibility & accountability far more than Kloff ever did & he SUFFERED & eventually scummed to his injuries & died. Even after he died he suffered because he had to see Kloff & Rapiel together while realizing it was wrong of him to do the things he did.
While Kloff on the other hand even as he turned pathetic OLD & GREY, he never took accountability for his actions. HE ONLY EVER BLAMED AEROC because that's the piece of trash he is. He actually fell in love with Aeroc in his own twisted way but could never admit it that everything he was doing was not for his dead lover RAPIEL but all to satisfy himself, his inflated ego, his inferiority complex & the thought that he was actually attracted to aeroc as an alpha. He wanted to see AEROC, the aristocrat break.
Yes exactly!! It really sucks because if he had let go of his ridiculous ideology that two alphas should not love each other and seen Aeloc for who he really is and not focused solely on his status, he would’ve been the happiest man alongside Aeloc and allowed Rapiel to also find a genuine connection and none of it would have happened at all. But of course, he just had to let everything consume him until he turned such a senile fool that pushed his own kids away and even killed another child and yet still refused to take accountability.
The difficulty i have in forgiving this man. Sighs* Knowing that whatever is happening in the second timeline will be of no use as the third timeline unravels. Why does our Aeroc have to suffer for 2 timelines???
