This author's works would be infinitely more enjoyable without all the very obvious queer baiting they do in every one of their works, just for their characters to end up in straight relationships. Feels very predatory to me, ngl. It's like they want the money of the queer shippers, but don't actually want to indulge them. Their world building and characters are very good, I will give it to them.
This comment section has very obvious thinly veiled homophobia and very obvious bi erasure. Being interested in someone of the opposite sex doesn't automatically make them straight. I am not interested in Noe and Vani, but some of these comments are really not it. Something doesn't have to have the BL/GL tag for people to want to ship two men or two women together. It's really not that big a deal.
Some people love using the fetishization card to sound more legitimate, as if shipping two men together automatically makes someone a fetishizer.
