I was so disappointed when we found out that siwon was actually dead (in taemin's body). Poor siwon, I just feel so bad for him, getting raped and killing yourself is just so sad, and everyone is still so mean to him ╥﹏╥. It would have been cool to see siwon enjoy himself living independently away from all his abusers in taemin's body. In the end they could both improve each other's lives and somehow switch back. I also really like taemin's old body and wouldn't mind seeing it again ლ(´ڡ`ლ). But I guess that's just an entirely different kind of story. It's ok I'll get over it, this story is still pretty damn good ┗( T﹏T )┛.
I wish he's still alive, too. But if Siwoon's story was true, that Taemin's body (with Siwon's soul) is dead, then I guess all we could do now is support Taemin in finding justice for Siwon's death.
It's just a crazy hope that I am clinging to, but yeah I guess siwon really did die in taemin's body.
About Taemin finding justice for Siwon; Well i'm not entirely convinced that he thinks of this whole thing as him avenging the owner of the body that he is stuck in. What taemin is doing seems more like he is trying to survive in siwon's world which is a really shitty place, rather than him fixing the crimes that were committed against Siwon. This is exactly what bothers me about most of the characters in this manhwa; their complete indifference towards a boy who was abused and driven to suicide. I am getting too emotionally attached to Siwon's plight because it seems like he didn't have anyone to rely on when he was being bullied and abused, and that has stayed true even after his death. It's incredibly pitiful and seeing how the author has handled the storyline so realistically, I wish they would acknowledge Siwon as someone more than just a plot device. (Please excuse the english)
Your english is perfect! Also, I agree with you, their world is incredibly cruel. It's horrible to even watch these characters going through all this and it makes me think about how often situations like this occur in real life. Mostly, I find the relationship with the younger brother to be the most upsetting, particularly because it seems like he will end up being our main villain, and because the oldest of 3, I was always taught that my siblings and I had to stand up for each other, seeing him not is just horrible. Bullying is really not okay, but what happened to siwon is some seriously scary long-term physical, sexual and emotional abuse and nobody in this manhwa seems to care (even siwon's parents don't seem to care how or why he had his accident)（/TДT)/ .
I really do think this story is pretty unique and well-written so I'm going to keep hoping that the author has a plan for the real siwon. I don't want to see his character diminished as some weak and pitiful guy, I'd like to see more glimpses into who he was. I'd like to find out what the real connection is between taemin and siwon. I'd like to see taemin beat the crap out of the people who hurt siwon, not because it will make his new life easier, but because he's learned to care about siwon even though no one else has. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
I don't think he's completely separated about that fact. Taemin is innately good, he likes helping people, although in the manhwa it shows him getting annoyed all the time but it's not like he doesn't care.
Can you imagine the level of trauma Siwon must have suffered that his body remembers the rape and the perpetrator just from a touch. The memories are so strong that his body recalls it it clearly even though his soul is no longer attached to the body.
I keep saying this, but I wish Siwon has a part to play in the plot and isn't someone who gets brushed off by the other characters calling him boring and weak. Be alive and happy my boi you deserve it.
