Old xian just goes back and forth, this isnt the first time we’ve seen future them. It’s like a separate timeline for side stuff. Like we have main story and the extras set in the future. I didn’t know if you were genuinely confused or just being a bit silly heheh. I’m pretty sure the last chapter with jianyi was also set in the future.
