I don’t know. I don’t even know how I feel about the ML. Like I get that’s he’s not the main cause but his treatment of his brother was also one of the reasons Earnest turned out the way he did. He openly stated he treated him with contempt, looked down on him, and even trashed his belongings (what the actual fuck). Even though he reprimanded his followers for taunting him he never apologized to him himself :/
Well said they all also treat women like objects to be conquered and owned too. I guess it could be reasoned as “world-building” but when ernest said something like that he was portrayed as evil and when the redhead said it, it was portrayed as romantic lol
