    I mean I'd get it if it came out of nowhere, but... They're clearly building up to it here. "The only person to survive the curse was a dragon!" "The main love interest is a super powerful dragon!". So far the story seems really good, with ideas being set up ahead of time, so I trust the author to still make her "final year" extremely dramatic and angsty, even if she'll survive
