Rightt there was a lot of plotholes Im confused but at least they got together
Kylot hated his whole family except for his mom. Reason being because his oldest brother has a brother complex, his other older brother is always in his personal business, and his dad is kinda more focused on the family business and Kylot didn't want to take over the business considering they do shady experimental shit behind closed doors. His mom is the only one that isn't constantly hounding him so she's aight in his book.
