I can only really read like 5-10 chapters in one sitting and it’s… fine I guess? Feels like watching some fairy tale that I’m not an audience for lmao.
The curse of ML got revealed so early, that there was no suspense or anything. Boom, he’s handsome but he can’t know! I think I would prefer to be kept in the dark for a little longer. MLs and FLs feelings were also mutual from pretty much the very beginning. So the whole story feels like going through some random side quests you don’t care about and waiting for the main story to progress.
And it never does. I’m at ch70 - the only thing we learned about the curse since the day that FL found out about it is…. nothing. She has some hunch with that great sage from the past but that’s it, we literally learned NOTHING new since the chapter she had this vision of a demon(?) telling her to keep quiet. Feelings-wise they also haven’t made any progress at all. BUT - she did start a business, make her own currency, created a fake loan company, scammed a demon through a fake bank account, discovered a delivery-service, started a cult, became a live streamer, ….
If those side quests were at the very least interesting - had some intrigue, kept your interest, made you wonder how it will get resolved. But no, everything is ridiculously simple, like in children’s shows, literally. At first I found it funny how the manhwa was poking fun at capitalism, but the ways of capitalism that FL is using, and the issues she is trying to resolve, are shown in such a shallow way, oversimplified way. It feels like a parody.
