It's really cute but I notice the pattern between these smut japanese mangas, they're all set in high school..... I don't know what's so hard about making the manga set up in college life because most of the struggles does start in college, the sweat and tears for craming for final exam, OJT or premed/med student's duty while being in relationship.

I have come into a conclusion that what if these artists never finished college or only knew art fields because they graduated from art field without knowing anything or literally just ignorant??

Someone on here once said, that the reason why authors make the setting in high school is, because it allows for easier meet ups between characters with different personalities, desires and life goals, as high school students usually aren't placed together with others for the field they want to study for. This is also the reason why a lot of action stories take place during school years.

Taking this from the rabbit wolf story, someone who wants to work in the movie and production field won't have a likely meeting with someone in the teaching field in collage.

It is always nice to see a story when an author makes a good encounter of the very different MLs

Tho still Korean manhwa were able to set most plot in college so why can't they?
    Take for example, BJ Alex

They cant meet people in different fields? That's not true, I'm a premed student and I was still able to meet friends at tourism and engineering field courses

But then again, maybe some programs like seminars in my university just made people meet other courses or they really just don't know how to associate with people in different field due to knowledge barriers

But then I would really like to see more of plot that starts in college cuz there are only few, I want to see more

My guess is that manhwas are able to fully flesh these out with 60 chapters or so, whereas mangas usually have only one volume to work with.

The college field thing was also a guess based on the current BL stories here, since i just went straight to work.

But I don't really know much more, would prefer college as well, since seeing minors do that is a bit weird. Hoping authors moving forward will be able to write the college setting well.

This could be different culture as well. This is just my guess, but I feel like many Japanese artists think back of high school, middle school period fondly, probably because that period students have more time to involve in love, sport and other activities. Once they are in university and work, they are buried in responsibilities and have less time to themselves. For university, I feel like people there don't make a lot of friends there, maybe because of schedule?? There are barely movies and dramas about university life and if they do, their friends usually high school friends more than new friends.

I think it's more about cultural difference. As far as I know, age for consent in japan is 13, before it changes to 16 in 2023. So bcs of that, having s*x at highschool is considered normal in japan culture. And also, this manga is from 2019 which is before the newest law about age of consent

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree. I think that the use of high school as like the most common romance setting can get old and adds a layer of discomfort. This author is definitely guilty of it too, since most of their work is based in high school. With the exception of like two sequels here and there.
