From what point did you get lost? It’s kinda a vague request

Brian gets Lorkan interested in him by showing Lorkan how he is growing the world because that is something that Lorkan is interested in. Brian does this so he can get Lorkan to teach him mana control so that Brian could build light houses to show lowerstead that magic can be useful and convince lowerstead to open up the iron trade. Lowestead demands more light houses than brian has the mana to create, but he accepts anyways and end up collapsing. Lorkan has begun having feelings for Brian and gives Brian his mana to "help him," but its obvious his intentions are not pure here. Brian has made 2/3 lighthouses, they go home and hes planning to go back when he has more mana to finish. When they go back, Soliete is upset because he senses Lorkans mana in Brian, they fight, they make up. Lorkan starts to feel possesive over brian and tries to make moves, which Brian declines. Lorkan convinces Soliete to let Brian go back to lowerstead to finish the light houses and open up the iron trade. Soliete agrees, and Brian sets off with Lorkan and a bunch of other servants. As soon as theyre a good distance from arcaea, Lorkan kidnaps Brian in order to end the contract that brian has with Sol, presumably so Lorkan can be with him instead(?).
