Sister only four chapters are out, calm down. Don’t drop it for no reason. The story is starting. I heard the romance starts late and looking at the reviews, it’s not a big part of the story. Idk why so many people are literally paranoid about any romance. If the story is well written then romance will be good too.
Novel Reader here!! I’ve read up to 425 chapters so far and while there are girls who like him, I haven’t seen a lick of romance yet. Pretty sure there’s not that many chapter left either. If he ends up with anyone, I have suspicions of who it could possibly be but that’s just cause romance is the genre I thrive in and author’s are terrible at misdirecting me. It’s not because the author put in enough romance scenes for me to guess, there’s literally nothing feeding me in the romance department. They starved me for over 400 chapters. You won, romance hater. This is your series, you will thrive. I promise. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Eh... I mean... I get them tho? There's a ton of comics with good mcs and interesting plot that go to sheet when the authos try to put romance in it. Partially because female characters are badly done most of the time... and partially because most part of romance and the "there's a couple girls that like him but he's not interested" are just artifices to mace the mc stand out more as someone desirable than romance happening because its a part of life.
Also, this is just me ok? I already read too much romance whenever the mc is female. 2 chapters in and there's already people in the comments askink whos the ml. Romance takes such a massive part of every "female oriented" story that I run to the "male oriented" ones to escape it. Even if we get a action and revenge plot with a strong fighter as mc most of it will be focused or dependent on romance. So yeah... I'm here to escape romance not to get more of it. Sorry the rant... ^^
No problem I was mostly just being silly!
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I get that people get tired of romance to a certain extent. Me specifically, not really, mostly because like I said before I normally know from the get go who is going to end up with who. I don’t really worry about who is going to end up with who, it’s a non-factor for me. I’m focused of the relationship itself and how it develops. I don’t usually have preferences on who the ml is because I know from the beginning and I try to get used to that character unless they aren’t a good person, in which case I abandon the story as a whole. Love is beautiful and I love reading about it so I genuinely get sad that it’s barely in any other form of media besides romance. But that’s just me. I understand your preferences too.
It's an overreaction? maybe? But I don't think it's an overreaction? I just asked who's gonna be the love interest and what I was contemplating at that time though? and isn't it normal to not read what you don't fancy?
Yes, it's a normal part of life. We know that but isn't it also normal to not like romance? Why is it abnormal if there's no romance?
It's alright if you don't understand it. Just think of it as some people's preference. Everyone has likes and dislikes.
Just like how I sometimes prefer to not read romance there's also people who prefer to always read romance. It's human. I do read romance too but there's just some days that its not like that. Today is just one of those days.
Not at all... there are differences between normal romance that it's part of life and exagerated romance. 90% of romance in comics is the exagerated kind. 3-5 people interested in mc to the point of helping them with everything even if it's detrimental to them? Loving mc to death when they've only known each othe for a couple months? A normal looking good guy havind a bunch of women drolling over them and willing to share? Even the 3 4 woman interested when mc is not is not very realistic because mc is not trying to get their attention. Yeah, it's normal to have multiple people of the opposite gender interested, when you put the effort for it to happen. Yeah there's normal ones but the majority is not. Either the romance turns into the biggest part of the plot or it's there just to boost ego of the mc.
It's like fanservice. If you don't notice you just don't and the read is good. But when you notice it's hard not to see it and it's everywhere. Most guys clothing are relatively normal. The girls? Can't say the same. You look at it and know instinctively that that's not how clothes work. That's not the kind of clothes any woman would choose for that ocasion. Some even look like is body paint insteas of real clothes. When you notice in one you start noticing everywhere. And when you see it in a comic you are starting you already feel apprehensive about it.
To you that don't notice it seems like overreaction, but for those that notice it's only natural to confirm first.

I went through that with incəst. I started reading thinking it was a cute family oriented comic where mc goes back in time to fix her relationship with her adopted family. But I was wrong. Not only did she not save the parents but she also ended up with her oldest adopted brother... instead of her nice childhood friend whom she was about to marry before going back. The brother also had a very nice fiance too. And the full on romance only started like 80ch in... that's when I really noticed their feelings were taking a weirdly romantic turn.
Boy. The. Anger.... I've never been so pissed in my life... such a waste of time.... after that I need to go to the comments to know who's the ml before reading. Angst, toxic, step-family are things I avoid like the plague... sometimes I'm into romance, but sometimes ai just want to read something wothout it. So I think it's totally valid to check whos the romantic interest and even overall plot before reading.
Omfg I feel that anger
That's why I ask for confirmation from other readers and double check the novel tags just in case. Even the novel tags I don't usually trust and still ask for spoilers.
I dedicated time to reading this and empathized with the characters but it just feels like a gut punch when things like that happen. So I run to the comment section to rant and then defenders come and curse you out.
Please spoil me as to who the romantic interest will be please? My guess is that Actress? and did it ever take up too much time in the novel? like a few chapters like 3-10 long romance chapters?
I'm asking because I'm contemplating on whether to drop this or not.
The premise and art is great! Romance just isn't my cup of tea.
