The police is ass

They're obviously not doing their job. Someone is kidnapped, and if reported, they should do a search regardless if it was a run away or not. All you have to do is find the person and sort the situation out. They should sue the rich guy for kidnapping, confinement, and sexual assault. Yes, he didn't force her all the way, but he touched her against her will. Oh, and the drug too or whatever it was. Right to jail.

That’s my stance as well. Rich or poor, he committed wayyyy too many crimes and so did the assistant. In the real world, that would be reported and the hotel would consider sex trafficking as a potential situation and call the police. They both would have gone to prison not jail. Jail is a temporary hold, prison is the one you go into for years and years. Also who tf doesn’t take a money settlement. That money is good faith hush money but with no legally binding contract, you absolutely can go sue them since there’s no NDA and there’s no contract to not pursue. Personally, I’d take the money from the assistant as the assistants apology and continue to press charges against the rich guy and sue him. I’d even consider calling immigration forces just as an extra FU even if he isn’t even living in the country. It’s a hassle to deal with.
