Okay cause that "mob" character also uses a shield as well and had a reminisicent look on his face when the kid mentioned Seo Chaeyoon, especially if we consider their similar appearances. Just saying, I didn't think it was too far fetched of a theory. And do you really think Chaeyoon would really let a kid die in front of him just like that because he needs to "lay low"? Lol
no, i’m not saying he’d led someone die if someone was in danger right in front of him. however, that’s why he avoided getting in those kind of situations in the first place. that’s the whole reason he became a office hunter instead of a dungeon hunter (while trying to lay low). all i’m saying is that the mob truly has no importance to the story because the panel changed to the real Seo Chaeyoon afterwards… who tbh doesn’t look all that similar to the mob character bc (no offence i love my boy but) Chaeyoon looks more like a twink than the first guy. anyhow, the author just used the literary device of introducing the story in the middle of action and showing the reader just how influential and strong chaeyoon actually is.
Thanks for the discussion yall this was just really bothering me because doesn’t this character have too many closeups and focus for a mob? Received a cool posed MC shot and everything just to disappear… And if were Yoon Seo, I could definitely see him stepping in to save a kid but his super cheerful act seemed way too out of character for him.
I’m reading the novel now and I’m still stumped, who is the shield guy in chapter 1? is he someone I’m supposed to recognize or is he just a mob to establish that Seo Chaeyoon is an important person lol i’m dying to find out
