the author wanted to make JJ the cold hearted mysterious character so bad that his actions didn’t make sense
JJ really feels like such an empty husk of a character and maybe that's why he pisses me off so much bc he's just cold and broody but he comes across as an asshole bc there's no real character depth here. One of the few BLs where I'm actively rooting for the main couple to break up LOL

I'm actually used to noncon in BLs but this smut scene just felt so uncomfortable bc of how JJ was so rough and emotionless the whole time he was fucking Leo like he was a doll instead of a person. If they dated for five years then you'd think he'd be kinder to him even if his feelings are hurt? He'd care not to hurt him like that? There's no excuse for his behavior especially when like Leo said, he never explained anything as to why he dumped Leo and keeps getting mad at him and acting like a douchebag.
