I'm curious 'bout yuri manga :v

You should read it :) Lots of different mangas from different genres on this site.
I think I tried reading it once, but for some reason yaio appeals to me much more

I'm a girl myself and to be honest yuri is not that bad. It's just that maybe you'll feel it's too weird because you already know how fast paced yaoi is and yuri is pretty slow in my opinion. But still give it a go, there're plenty of good yuri :)

Maybe try lighter ones first. Like Girl Friends or Asagao To Kase. Tamen De Gushi is even lighter than those and has some BL moments/teasing on the side. Or if the innocent stuff actually bores you try What Does The Fox say. (Silly name I know) But if you can't don't sweat it. We can't like everything. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
