It’s hilarious how he broke up with him after him being the one that was confessed by the way the first one to do so he did love him. He just didn’t want to hurt him. I do find it a little complicit. He just switched right back after and I think neither of them believed it. I think he just didn’t wanna be with him even though he probably did care for him. I think that that’s what our MC thought.
