I'm confused in the comment section it's obvious that those scene are flashbacks (I understand if you don't recognize the blue dressed guy at first but it was explained that the guy is ml's childhood friend or something) and obviously mc's will be tied up cuz he tried to conspired to murder ml but it failed.
He's not asking why mc's trying to poison him or whatever HE'S ASKING WHY HE SPARE MC'S LIFE WHEN MC'S A THREATH TO HIS LIFE AND IT'S ONLY NATURAL OR REFLEX TO HIM TO IMMEDIATELY KILL WHOEVER THE FUCK WHO TRIES TO HARM HIM.
